DOIDEP – The transformation journey of an accommodation space amidst the vast forests of Da Lat Hidden on the outskirts of Lac Duong – where nature still retains its wild and serene character – DOIDEP is a renovation project aimed at the values of slow, sophisticated, and connected living. The project began with an old, degraded housing complex that nevertheless possessed a rare location with expansive views of pine forests and valleys. From the old foundation, the design team did not just restore but completely transformed the entire space according to the philosophy of “simplification to reach the essence”, opening up a compact, refined accommodation model in harmony with nature. Making use of the existing structure, they focused on transforming the functionality and spatial emotion – heading towards a slow, quiet, yet fully convenient lifestyle.

Local materials, rustic surfaces, natural light, and a selectively used light blue color palette create a unique identity for the project. Every detail in DOIDEP is meticulously cared for, with a high degree of personalization. In the context of urbanization, DOIDEP stands as an example of the ability to regenerate old spaces into new lodging experiences – emotionally rich, harmonious, and profound.
